Step into the classroom and become a teaching assistant

Teach Portsmouth invites local residents to find out more about becoming a teaching assistant in a school at an upcoming information event at Portsmouth Central Library on Tuesday 5 July between 10am - 12pm.

Meet learning support staff as they share their own experiences from Portsmouth's classrooms as well as a head teacher who will give top tips on applying for a support vacancy.

The Learning Place will be on hand to provide information on training and apprenticeships in education too.  

This event is perfect for those considering a career in education and wanting more information on becoming a teaching assistant. There is no need to register - just turn up!
