Dementia Support Service
The Portsmouth office is currently closed and our face to face services have been suspended. Our local staff are working by phone and online to support people affected by Dementia. Dementia Support Workers offer information and practical guidance to help people understand dementia, cope with day-to-day challenges andprepare for the future. Support is currently offered over the phone, by email or in writing. Dementia Support Workers are there to explain about the condition as well as signposting people to the support services available.

The Alzheimer's Society is a national charity that works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia . The local branch in Portsmouth offers a range of services to people with a diagnosis of alzheimer's or dementia, and their carers.

Dementia Talking Point
Dementia Talking Point is a helpful online community where anyone who is affected by dementia can receive valuable support. It's free, open day or night, and can be accessed online:
