In a landmark celebration of Hip-Hop culture's 51st anniversary, Portsmouth proudly presents Rawkus City, a one-day outdoor festival that promises to electrify the city with the best of Hip-Hop dance. This dynamic event will take place on 14th September 2024 at Guildhall Square, marking a historic moment as Breaking debuts as an Olympic sport in Paris 2024 and highlighting the inclusive and diverse power of Portsmouth.

Spotlighting the South Coast's Hip-Hop Legacy 

The South Coast has long been a crucible for UK Hip-Hop, with Portsmouth's dancers, part of the Second to None crew, making a significant impact on the global Breaking scene. With the celebration of Breaking in the Paris 2024 Olympics, Rawkus City aims to establish Portsmouth as a vibrant hub for Hip-Hop dance and arts across the South Coast.
