Heart of Portsmouth Boxing Academy

The Heart of Portsmouth Boxing Academy was founded in September 2008, based in the Heart of the City of Portsmouth (3 min walk from central station) it is ideally placed for what it was set up for, keeping the youth off the street and engaging them into a physical activity that all of them can do.
The Heart of Portsmouth Boxing Academy prides itself on being a place where people of all genders, abilities, age and fitness can attend and have a feeling of achievement and self worth.
HOP works closely with the city council, Community Improvement Partnership, Portsmouth Respect Programme and the Motiv8 youth group who all work hard in directing and supporting the youth of Portsmouth.
HOP Boxing Academy is in partnership with Charter Academy (formerly St Luke’s School), the new look Charter academy is leading the way in boxing in schools in the country, by putting boxing training onto the academy curriculum, every year group has the option to complete the GB National Boxing Awards and the year 9′s 10′s and 11′s
