What makes our Trustees so special? They give up their time and energy to help make Portsmouth a better place.

Bob White

Bob has been Vicar of St Mary’s in Fratton for nearly 25 years. He is an active member and supporter of a number of community projects and initiatives. Born in Portsmouth he enjoys working with others to support the communities of the city.

Elle Snookes

Elle has lived in Portsmouth most of her life. She started her career as a nursery nurse and youth worker before going on to work in Youth Justice and Serious Violence. Elle now owns her own business offering Trauma Informed  training and consultancy to professionals. Lives with her family and beloved lurcher and can be found walking along the seafront and cooking up a storm in her spare time.

Cath Longhurst

Cath is a leadership coach working to support leadership teams and senior leaders in charities, public sector and small business. She has more than 20 year’s, experience as CEO of a social enterprise and charity supporting young people’s career aspirations and has a background in youth and community work.

Rory Massey

Rory was Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Age UK Portsmouth until last year when he became CEO for Apuldram Centre, a charity that support Adults with Learning Disabilities. Rory was born in Portsmouth and has dedicated his career to supporting vulnerable people in the south.

Nicola Youern

Nicola was Group CEO of the YOU Trust for 27 years, a social care and support charity based in Fareham.  She now works as a social care consultant and leadership and business growth coach. 

Sandy Bramley

Sandy is the CEO of Citizens Advice Gosport and Solent East which covers Portsmouth and Havant, passionate about volunteering and social action - I firmly believe that everyone has a value and would love to see the HIVE be a catalyst for helping the people in Portsmouth discover theirs and use it for the good of the City as a whole.
