Free My Meal PortsmouthThis group intends to connect free meals with recipients. We take no responsibility for what is cooked and what is provided. Our aim is simply to connect a meal with hungry humans that may not be able to afford a cooked meal at the present time.

Friends Fighting CancerFriends fighting Cancer was created in 2008. It has grown from a single tournament to a charity that has raised over One Million pounds for local Cancer charities and people. In 2019 we updated our name to Friends Fighting Cancer to show that we have grown from just a football tournament into something much bigger.
We support local families going through one of the most challenging times in their lives in the South of England, including Portsmouth, Chichester, Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight. As a local charity, we can act fast and provide much-needed funds via our Grant Scheme, sometimes in less than 24 hours. We provide money directly to families to try and alleviate the financial burden that coping with this disease can cause. Friends Fighting Cancer is a non-profit organisation that hosts fundraising activities to benefit local families. We aim to raise a lot of money and have fun doing it. We also establish a community of participants, sponsors, and supporters who can partake in our events and promote awareness of FFC. Since 2008, we've hosted multiple football tournaments, one-off matches, countless raffles, bucket collections, walking events, boxing events, skydives, darts tournaments, and much more. In 2015, we became an independent charity with our own charity number 1155194 registered with Companies House and the Charity Commission. Making this change has allowed us to support local families by offering means-tested donations from £100 to £500 and, in exceptional cases, higher. We have a fantastic team of volunteers that organise and execute our events and activities; without them and the support from participants, supporters, and corporate sponsors, we would not be where we are today.
