We are open Monday - Friday.

One-to-one sessions can be booked around the session times above where needed. We support people over the age of 18, no diagnosis is needed.

Rowans Hospice is providing a full range of clinical and support services; within the Hospice, the Living Well Service and to people within their own home.
Rowans Living Well Service is open 5 days a week (from 10 am - 4 pm), people with a life limiting condition, the carers and those that have been bereaved can ‘drop in’ to the Centre, for support, advice and sign posting; potentially accessing support from the programmes of care that are on offer. A communal café provides snacks and a small selection of hot meals within the Centre.
Rowans Hospice offers palliative and end of life care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses, to include family members, carers and friends, throughout Portsmouth and South-East Hampshire within its building and to people within their own home, to include specialist multi-professional advice; and reablement social work and specialist dementia support in Portsmouth. We value life, quality of living and foster hope, supporting people to maximise their health and wellbeing and plan ahead for their future care needs. Rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission.
We care for adults 16+, Bereavement services are for both adults and children.

A Centre for support for people with life-limiting illnesses
Rowans Living Well Service is open 5 days a week (from 9 am - 4 pm). The Living Well Centre offers a range of both face-to-face and virtual activities, and the opportunity to meet new people who can support and guide you. We run a dedicated support service for Serving and ex-Service Personnel who are living with or caring for someone with a serious or life-limiting illness, or are recently bereaved.

Did you serve at least 1 day in the Armed Forces or Merchant Navy?
Are you experiencing loneliness or social isolation?
Are you struggling with the impact of your illness physically and/or emotionally?
Have concerns about the future and whether your loved ones will be looked after?
Our wide range of services, including a dedicated Veteran Companions buddy service, can help you find answers.

Weekly social groups take place on Mondays - Living Well Centre - ring to book - limited spaces.

Thursdays 2-4pm in May June and July at Your Space Gosport. This is an opportunity for any Female Veteran or Serving Personnel who is living with, had experience of caring or been bereaved through a life-limiting illness, to seek advice, support, socialisation, and companionship. A chance to have a chat with others that have had similar experiences.

Our Child Bereavement Support service (known as Rowans Meerkat Service), offers specialist emotional support to children and young people who have a significant adult (such as a parent or grandparent), with a life-limiting illness or, who have been bereaved of an adult close to them. We work alongside families with children up to the age of 18.

Our fully qualified pharmacists are on hand to listen, advise and answer any queries or concerns that you have about your medicines. We offer a range of services without the need for an appointment, from quitting smoking to weight management. You can also get your flu jab in store, making it easier to access the healthcare you need. With our text message service, we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect, saving you time and trouble. Just ask in store and we'll set you up.
