COMMUNITY GARDEN - It has now become a seasonal hub for healthy living outdoor growing activities, and acknowledged to be one the most sympathetically restored spaces for growing edible produce, which is an assorted selection of raised beds and potting benches.

We value each and every individual who comes to live at The Haven Rest Home. We welcome applications from people from all walks of life and with many different needs, who enjoy the opportunity to share and celebrate the richness and diversity of their experience. All residents are assured that they will be treated with the utmost respect and dignity according to their individual needs and wishes.

Nursing home for adults aged 65 and over. The Home of Comfort Nursing Home, originally founded in 1896 by Mother Emma, the Head Deaconess of the Winchester Diocese, is non-profit making and is a registered charity.

Coworking space:

We are an uplifting and quirky coworking space in the heart of Portsmouth. Come and visit! Spend a productive Day, or make yourself at home for the Month. This friendly and dynamic work space has great WiFi and fresh coffee refills included. Its unique use of a church building makes for a very peaceful setting to get that work done. Lone-working doesn’t have to be lonely.

We have large collaboration desks, individual desks, unlimited tea, proper coffee and business-grade WiFi.

The Charity provides for the relief of poverty, need and financial hardship to the elderly by the provision of subsidised accommodation, care and counselling and grants to individuals and organisations.

The Lark Network is an inclusive community that provides events, training, and support for women who face additional barriers to working for themselves.

We do things a bit differently at Lark. You won’t be asked to do your elevator pitch (although if you want support perfecting it, we’ll be more than happy to help!). We’re not about pushy sales. We believe in giving you the time and space to build genuine connections with other women, allowing you to create a real support network.

We run a range of monthly events and one-off workshops throughout the year.
Join us at The Host Cafe on the first Monday of every month for our Lunch Break networking session where we invite you to step away from your desk and enjoy lunch with other entrepreneurial women.
On the second Sunday of the month, we meet at Southsea Library for Startup Sunday. These sessions include meaningful conversations and mini-workshops to boost your business skills.
Join our monthly Business Book Club to discover new and inspiring personal and professional development books. Our book club runs monthly online.
All our events are free to attend, children are welcome, and refreshments are provided.

The LifeHouse offers meals for homeless people and support/help with addictions to vulnerable adults.

Every Tues-Wed-Thurs we offer an on-the-door service of food parcel bags.

We also offer:
free clothing, regular hairdressing, regular foot care, advice and signposting services, free eye tests and glasses.
