Encouraging Innovation Grant

 

Supporting local people and groups with innovative ideas and projects for communities in Portsmouth, the HIVE Portsmouth Encouraging Innovation Grant aims to pilot innovative ideas, support early intervention initiatives, and promote a sustainable VCSE community in Portsmouth that is able to adapt in response to COVID-19.

Encouraging Innovation Grant aims to:

  • Pilot innovative ideas led by small local voluntary or community groups or individuals with lived experience
  • Support alternatives to statutory services providing early intervention and reducing demand on statutory services.
  • To support a sustainable voluntary and community sector in Portsmouth to adapt and change in response to COVID-19 challenges

  • Registered Charity
  • Community Interest Company
  • Charitable Incorporated Organisation
  • Community Groups

What can I apply for?

  • Grants are available for between £2000 and £10,000

How do I apply?

  • This is a two-stage application process
  • Please ensure that you read the guidance notes and have checked you are eligible to apply
  • Submit the Expression of Interest– see below
  • Successful applicants will be invited to submit a stage two application
