Activity Groups

CCWG is a diverse and welcoming women’s group, with attendees from a wide range of ethnic and faith backgrounds. Some women have little or no English language skills; however, we are still able to communicate, connect, and understand one another.

The group provides an informal, relaxed, and safe space where women can drop in with their children. It offers opportunities to learn, try new activities, build confidence, and make new friends.

Take part in a fun, inclusive circus movement and and circus workshop with Head Over Wheels.

As part of Pivot Fest, Head Over Wheels will lead a fun, inclusive movement and circus workshop. The workshop is open to everyone. You will try simple, accessible movement in a friendly and relaxed session that builds confidence, creativity, and connection.

Please note, all bookings allow one carer to attend if needed.

Join artists from This New Ground for a digital art workshop where you'll create a self portrait.

A relaxed, artist led workshop exploring digital drawing using iPad and Procreate.  Participants will create a self-portrait at their own pace with support from This New Ground artists.

No previous experience is needed.  Everyone is welcome.  The session is inclusive and accessible with clear guidance and flexible ways to take part.  You will have a self-portrait to take away at the end.
