There are several outside spaces in Portsmouth, providing a therapeutic environment for anyone who wants to spend some time in the great outdoors - whether that's gardening, or simply observing nature.

The emotional strain that can sometimes happen when caring for some can lead to loneliness and isolation. The Carers' Breaks cookery sessions bring together carers who want to make healthy, quick, and easy meals, whilst forming friendships and ties to their community.

The sessions take place at the Carers' Centre (117 Orchard Road, Southsea) on the following days:

• Monday mornings

• Thursday mornings

• Friday afternoons

As well as taking part, there’s also opportunities to volunteer and help run the sessions.
