Spark and Stagecoach have come together to deliver ‘Get on the Bus!’  An event for those people who may be anxious or nervous about bus travel to help them try out getting on and off the bus in a relaxed and fun setting.  

On Wednesday June 11th, between 11am and 2pm, Stagecoach will be parking one of their buses outside Spark for anyone to hop on board, try out tickets, listen to the stop announcements and just get used to being on the bus without hassle or stress.  There may be the option of a bus ride to the pier as well!

To follow up this event and to encourage people to use bus travel, Spark will have access to some free bus passes to continue your new adventures by bus.  In Portsmouth, buses travel pretty much anywhere; to all the tourist attractions, to the beach, to both hospitals for healthcare appointments and to connect to other cities and towns in the area for visits.  

If you would love to travel by bus more but just need that bit of confidence, join us on June 11th at the Pompey Centre, Fratton Way, just by the football ground and Tesco.  There will be the usual Spark cuppa, cake and toasties on offer!
