Bicycle Recycling

Our Community Cycle Hub (on Winston Churchill Avenue) will cease trading on Monday 26th October and will stop accepting donations from 13th October.
Our Naval Base Cycle Hub (in HMS Nelson) will cease trading on Wednesday 11th November and will stop taking donations from 1st November.

Bicycle Recycling is a trading subsidiary owned by Motiv8 South. It employs qualified mechanics who work alongside apprentices, trainees and volunteers; with more than half the paid staff being young people.

Face-to-face coach runs will be replaced with calls or socially distanced, outdoor visits.
Community missions are being set up under new guidance.
Our official group runs are on hold for the foreseeable future.
Missions will continue to operate during this period with enhanced safety procedures.

GoodGym Portsmouth helps you get fit by doing good. We run to help out older people in Portsmouth with one-off tasks that they are no longer able to do on their own.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust

The Trust continues to take steps to help limit the spread of Covid-19. All events remain cancelled and our head office, education centres and bird hides remain closed. Our staffing numbers remain reduced so it may take slightly longer than normal to deal with requests and enquiries.

The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK. With the support of volunteers and members it manages over 50 nature reserves.
