No Limits

No Limits is a charity offering free and confidential information, advice, counselling, advocacy and support to children and young people under the age of 26 in Southampton and Hampshire. Young people can come to No Limits for free support on a wide range of issues including housing, homelessness, debt, employment, relationships, sexual health, mental health and substance misuse. Support is offered at the No Limits Advice Centre in Central Southampton, through outreach work delivered in schools and colleges across Hampshire, in the Emergency Department at two Hampshire hospitals and virtually via phone, email, web chat and Zoom.

Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre

About Treetops
We offer confidentiality. However, we have a legal duty to share information with the police and / or Children’s Social Care if a child or young person is considered to be at risk of significant harm. (Children Act 2004) At all times you will be able to make choices on what happens to you. The Treetops Centre is for anyone in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight who has been raped or sexually assaulted. Services are available to women and men. We can offer support and services whether or not the police are involved.
Immediate services
After someone has been raped or sexually assaulted we offer the following services:
- Forensic medical examination by a specialist doctor. This will be carried out as sympathetically as possible, and can be undertaken whether the police are involved or not.
- The examination may include pregnancy testing and emergency contraption where appropriate, at the time of referral.
- Support will be available from trained staff when you attend the centre.

Follow up services:
We understand that the effects of rape or sexual assault can take time to resolve. To help, we offer the following services:
A crisis worker who will support and provide you with information that may help.
Referral to an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA).
Young Persons ISVA.
We can provide you with information about counselling.
Support through criminal proceedings will be provided, and we can put you in touch with the Witness Support Service.
Assistance with Criminal Injuries Compensation claims, trained staff at the centre can explain the system to you, help you complete the form or put you in touch with your local Victim Support or Citizens Advice Bureau who also provide that service.
