Harbour Church Portsea Food BankOur Food Bank runs in the hope of eradicating food poverty; wanting no one in the city to be going hungry. The team understand that there can be a “shame stigma” attached to using a Food Bank and aim to make people feel as comfortable as possible, showing love, restoring dignity, and encouraging those who enter through our doors. This has spurred us to partner with Kings Church, Portsmouth and The Trussell Trust to launch The Food Bank at our Gunwharf location. Thursdays: 11am-12pm St George's Church, Portsea, PO1 3AT. PLEASE NOTE: Many Food Banks require referrals. If you need to be referred to a foodbank, talk to your support worker (such as a health visitor or social worker) Food Bank parcels will be available to collect for all those with Trussell Trust food bank vouchers.
