Breastfeeding Network PortsmouthOur team of peer supporters and volunteers are here to support you throughout your feeding journey. Pregnant, combination feeding, expressing, exclusively breastfeeding, chestfeeding, newborn, toddler, ending your breastfeeding journey, debriefing feelings about a previous journey, whatever your situation we are here for you and everyone is welcome.
All our support is offered free of charge and we have both virtual and face-to-face options available. Healthier togetherThe Healthier Together programme relies upon patients and healthcare professionals working together to improve how local healthcare is delivered. The website provides advice for parents, young people and pregnant women, and clinical resources to support healthcare professionals – which means that your child is likely to receive consistently high-quality care, irrespective of which healthcare professional they see.

Informed Pregnancy, Birth and BeyondInformed Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond is a grassroots, not for profit community group.
We are committed to supporting families to create community and find the information they need when pregnant, birthing and finding their way as a new family. We facilitate three peer support groups each month. Portsmouth Group - Second Friday of Each Month at 10am. Fareham and Gosport Group -Third Tuesday of Each Month at 10am. Online Group via Zoom -Last Thursday of each month at 8pm. The Parenting Network - Baby BankThe Portsmouth Baby Bank aims to help alleviate child poverty and support families during times of financial and emotional stress, whilst reducing waste and promoting reuse of items.
We collect baby clothes, maternity items, toiletries, equipment, cots, prams and toys that are pre-loved, and pass them on to families in need. Our service is provided free of charge and we receive referrals from a whole range of professionals who are in contact with families. |
