Catherine Booth House Salvation ArmyCatherine Booth House is a centre for families who are deemed to be unintentionally homeless and in need of high support. The Salvation Army works closely with a range of agencies including children and adult social care and housing to help support families to be able to maintain their own tenancy by helping them gain the life skills needed. Harbour ChurchPlease view website for services: Food Bank @ St George's church on Thursdays 11am-12pm Other services: Vista - outreach and support for women in the sex industry/who have experienced sexual exploitation: Haven - weekly women's group - a partnership between Harbour Church, Portsmouth City of Sanctuary and The Medaille Trust Moving on Project. Provides opportunities for women who have experienced, or are experiencing sexual exploitation, gender abuse, or had extreme adverse experiences to discover connection with others in a safe, relaxed, private space. No LimitsNo Limits is a charity offering free and confidential information, advice, counselling, advocacy and support to children and young people under the age of 26 in Southampton and Hampshire. Young people can come to No Limits for free support on a wide range of issues including housing, homelessness, debt, employment, relationships, sexual health, mental health and substance misuse. Support is offered at the No Limits Advice Centre in Central Southampton, through outreach work delivered in schools and colleges across Hampshire, in the Emergency Department at two Hampshire hospitals and virtually via phone, email, web chat and Zoom. |

Portsmouth Recovery (Society of St James)The Portsmouth Recovery Hub is a one-stop confidential drug and alcohol treatment service available to anyone who lives in Portsmouth concerned about their own or a loved one’s drug and/or alcohol use. We have decades of experience and skill and are ready to help you as soon as you are ready yourself. We understand that sometimes the first step can feel the hardest. Our supportive staff team are non-judgemental and helps connect you with a whole range of services that can help.
