University of Portsmouth General Legal Advice Service

Overview - If you live or work in the Portsmouth area, you can get free and confidential civil legal advice from our General Legal Advice Clinic. Help with landlord & tenant and other housing issues; employment matters; contact with children and other family enquiries; consumer and contract matters. We cannot help with criminal matters, immigration law or cases involving the university. We are currently unable to offer representation.

We are currently able to offer face-to-face and telephone advice.

Face-to-face service appointments are held in the Portland Building at the University of Portsmouth.

When the clinic is open, appointments are available at either 10:00am or 2:00pm.
