Buckland soup kitchen, 174 Kingston Road, PO2 7LP (Queens Road entrance)

Buckland Soup Kitchen provides tea/coffee and a hot sit down meal in the hall at Buckland United Reformed Church. We generally have shoes and clothing available and occasionally sleeping bags.

The Foodcycle service uses surplus food from retailers to cook up 2 course meals for those in need.

This group intends to connect free meals with recipients. We take no responsibility for what is cooked and what is provided. Our aim is simply to connect a meal with hungry humans that may not be able to afford a cooked meal at the present time.

Harbour Church Portsea Food Bank

Our Foodbank will be open more frequently for anyone who needs help accessing food or essentials over the next few weeks. We will be open at our Gunwharf location from 11am-12noon Monday-Thursday and our usual time of 4-6pm on Thursdays.

If you’re unable to get out, then food bank parcels can be delivered to your doorstep, just contact alex@harbourchurchportsmouth.org for info.

Portsmouth Family Welfare Association

The Portsmouth Welfare Association provides assistance to homeless people and those in need. Our aim is to reach young couples, single mums with children by supplying clothing, furnishings, bedding, nursery items and food and to help combat poverty endured by people, who may be disadvantaged by homelessness, low wages and/or unemployment, to relieve poverty in the City of Portsmouth and provide a contact point of last resort for those in need.
