Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre

Venue

Treetops SARC is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).
We offer medical care, emotional support and practical help to anyone who has been raped or sexually assaulted.
The Crisis Worker team at Treetops SARC provide independent advocacy and support with practical matters, they can introduce you to other support services, for example Independent Sexual Violence Advisors, as well as providing confidential telephone advice.
Depending on the type of assault and when it happened, we can offer a forensic medical examination to collect evidence. This examination is important because we want to look after your medical needs as well as collecting forensic evidence. You may be at risk of pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections (STI’s); we can help you accessing emergency contraception and support you in accessing appropriate medical care.
The service we provide is free to access and confidential. We will only share your details with other services or agencies with your consent, unless there is a concern that you or someone else is at risk of serious harm.
We have a legal duty to share information with other services if you are under 18. We also offer support from a Young Persons Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (YPISVA) to ensure you receive the best possible care. The Young Persons ISVA can offer practical and emotional support.
We are in a discreet and secure location with free onsite parking.
