We are a vibrant community and come together to worship our Lord Jesus Christ in our two churches of Our Lady of Lourdes and St Swithun’s here in Southsea

Sylhet District Association

The Church of the Holy Spirit is open for the safe and orderly celebration of public worship. Although all the restrictions on Public Worship have been lifted some people will wish to continue to wear face-coverings and observe social distancing. Please respect the choice of others in this regard.

The Parish Church of the Ascension is a warm and lively parish church in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, located in the residential area of North End in the City of Portsmouth.

We are Church of England churches located in the North East corner of the ‘island’ of Portsmouth.

St. Cuthbert’s serves the community around the Baffins area and St. Aidan’s the Anchorage Park area of the parish.

The parish is a member of Inclusive Church and want everyone to feel welcome to join us on Sundays or at activities on other days of the week.

The Potters House Church – Portsmouth holds regular weekly services and fortnightly Bible Study groups. We believe a steady diet of worship, prayer, Biblical preaching and fellowship make for good disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Convent and Retreat House

The Society of the Sisters of Bethany is a religious Order for women within the Anglican Communion. Founded in 1866 we were the first Order within the Communion to offer retreats for women. We follow the Rule of St Augustine in the form modified by St Francis de Sales and St Jane Frances de Chantal.
