Fratton Big Local

Fratton Big Local is a Big Lottery funded 10-year project which aims to make lasting improvements to Fratton. It is run by a Partnership of local residents, who make decisions about how to spend the funding.

Our Local plan is set in the context of National Big Local Outcomes: Communities will be better able to identify local needs and take action in response to them. People will have increased skills and confidence, so that they continue to identify and respond to needs in the future. The community make a difference to the needs it prioritizes. People will feel that their area is an even better place to live in

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation

The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF) is an independent charitable foundation connecting local donors with local causes and grassroot charities in Hampshire (including Portsmouth and Southampton) and the Isle of Wight. HIWCF work with local individuals, families, companies and trusts to identify the causes they want to fund, and award small grants to support the vital projects and services of charitable organisations across the region.

We support smaller charities, community groups and voluntary organisations.
