Family Fund Helping Disabled People

The UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children.

For over 40 years the Family Fund has made a difference to the lives of families raising seriously ill and disabled children. We believe that all families raising disabled and seriously ill children and young people should have the same opportunities as others.

We're proud to be part of the Disabled Children's Partnership. Find out more at http://disabledchildrenspartnership.org.uk

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation is an independent grant making charity focused on enabling positive social change within the poorest and most disadvantaged communities in Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight. We help local communities to flourish by making charitable grants to effective community groups tackling poverty, disadvantage and inequality, when and where they can make a real difference. We inspire local philanthropists, funders and donors to make a lasting impact with their generosity through our endowment model and professional grant making approach.

The Bentley Young Persons Trust

What We Do

The Bentley Young Persons' Trust exists to help the young people of Portsmouth, and its surrounds, achieve their full potential in any field of endeavour by:

Providing funding and/or equipment for individuals who could not otherwise afford to pursue a particular talent.

Providing funding and/or equipment for organisations and groups offering young people the opportunity to experience activities outside of their normal lives.

Providing funding and/or equipment to any young person to allow them to train in any field where they may excel or help other people.

Who We Help

Since 1996, when BYPT was officially formed, hundreds of young people have benefited from grants and assistance from the trust.

From simple things like a sewing machine to allow a dance group to make their own costumes to sail training days and so much more.

Groups such as Scounts and The Prince's Trust volunteers have also benefited from grants.
