Enable Ability is established as an independent charity for the care, welfare and advancement of people with disabilities living in Portsmouth and the surrounding area. We work in partnership with disabled children and adults, their families and carers to provide a range of high quality, professional and confidential services.

As a charity that provides services to people with disabilities, we aim to be as inclusive as we can and actively represent the Voluntary and Community Sector through membership to the multi-agency SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Board set up by the Local Authorities to establish and implement a ’removing Barriers to Inclusion Plan’ for the locality a large part which relates to the development of inclusive and integrated services.

Hello! We’re FoodCycle Portsmouth John Pounds Centre. We collect food from retailers that would otherwise be thrown away, and with the help of lovely volunteers cook it up into a tasty, healthy three-course meals for those most in need in our city.

We cook and serve tasty three-course hot meals from The John Pounds Centre in Old Portsmouth every Wednesday at 6pm.

Friday Fridge provides hot food and some practical support for those in need. It is a safe place to relax, chat, pray and get guidance.

Friends Without Borders is a charity that provides support for asylum seekers, refugees and immigrants within the Portsmouth area.

Singing is fun and also good for you and we are trying a range of songs from the musicals, modern pop, old classics and ABBA type music. After singing we reward ourselves with a cuppa & cake or biscuits.

Ladies Circle is a modern, vibrant club for women just like you! With hundreds of members aged 18 to 45 across Great Britain and Ireland, we want to offer the best opportunity for young women to connect with each other, have a great time and give something back.

MenWalkTalk is a UK charity that creates safe, supportive spaces for men (18+) to walk, talk and connect with others.

We organise free, volunteer-led walk-and-talk groups in parks, along seafronts, through woodlands and towns, bringing men together in a relaxed, pressure-free way to support their mental wellbeing.

There’s no pressure to talk, no judgement and no expectations. Whether you want to open up, listen, or just meet new people, you’ll be welcomed exactly as you are.

Every walk is built on the same simple belief: that walking side by side can change lives.

Live at Home was established in 1989 by MHA, a charity providing care homes, housing and support services for older people throughout Britain.

Over 50 Live at Home Schemes now operate across the UK, enabling older people to maintain their independence and live more fulfilled lives.

These services aim to relieve social isolation and encourage older people to take an active part in the communities in which they live.
