Boogie Mites Portsmouth offer educational music groups and sessions for Nurseries / preschools, parent and carers, parties and events. We also offer Intergenerational music sessions partnering nurseries/ preschools with local care homes and care homes with families.

All our sessions enhance learning, language and literacy skills and are in line with the EYFS.

Informed Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond

Informed Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond is a grassroots, not for profit community group.
We are committed to supporting families to create community and find the information they need when pregnant, birthing and finding their way as a new family.
We facilitate three peer support groups each month.
Portsmouth Group - Second Friday of Each Month at 10am.
Fareham and Gosport Group -Third Tuesday of Each Month at 10am.
Online Group via Zoom -Last Thursday of each month at 8pm.
We also have a Facebook Support Group for peer support through pregnancy, birth, postnatal recovery and parenting.

LGBTQIA+ inclusive Stay and Play (Home-Start Portsmouth)

Our LGBTQIA+ inclusive Stay & Play Group for parents and children under the age of 5, every Friday afternoon at Northern Parade Family Hub.

This group will be a safe place for families and a chance to connect with families who share the experiences that come with parenting when part of the LGBTQIA+ community,

It will give children a chance to see versions of their own family reflected back at them. There are craft’s, play, messy play, stories and singing facilitated by our trained volunteers.

Portsmouth Parent Voice is for the parent carer of a child or young person with an additional or special need and/or disability; aged from 0 – 25 years old.

Portsmouth Parent Voice assists people to find the right support or service they need.

Rainbow Trust

Rainbow Trust provides emotional and practical support to families whose son or daughter is affected by a life threatening or terminal illness. This includes parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters, grandparents and help with extended family members to support each other.

Any family can receive support from the moment of their child or young person’s diagnosis, (including antenatal and neonatal periods when diagnosis has been made) and support with young people during transition towards adult services up to the age of 18.

The EC Roberts Centre

Located in the centre of Portsmouth the Roberts Centre is perfectly located to offer services that aim to be ‘Working Together to Improve the Lives of Children and Families.’
Services include;- Housing and Tenancy Support, Child Contact Services, Roberts Day Nursery and Support for Young People Leaving Care.

The Roberts Centre is a child focused Charity in Portsmouth that offers services to families and individuals to support them in addressing their situation of homelessness or issues of family relationship breakdown.

The Elizabeth Foundation

The Elizabeth Foundation is a charity supporting infants and preschool children with all degrees of deafness and their families. We are inclusive of children with additional physical, sensory and specialist learning needs. Our experienced team of professionals support children with all degrees of deafness to learn to listen and speak using the multi-sensory oral/aural approach, which engages all of a child's senses in natural, fun and child-centred activities that support communication development.

The Parenting Network

The Parenting Network is a non profit charitable organisation working to empower parents and build a supportive community of families who live within the city of Portsmouth.

We are a befriending service who actively listen to parents within our communities, providing advice, support and signposting towards more appropriate specialist services.

Our work with families is delivered through a series of engaging programmes that promote fun learning, strengthening family bonds and bringing people together whilst also tackling stigmas, gender stereotyping and social isolation.
