Southsea Sewing

Slow-Sew: Every First and Third Wednesday in Southsea Library. Come and join other home-schooled children and our jolly inter-generational group. We can teach how to repair clothes and other textiles, how to upcycle and adjust your textiles and how to do basic hand-sewing. We also have projects provided free of charge. Contact southsea.sustex@gmail.com.

Power-Sew: We have found that to get your confidence it's best to learn basic skills first. We ask beginners to make one of the beginners choices of project before venturing onto more skilled projects.

Bring clothes you need to repair or adjust. We can inspire you on re-purposing and upcycling too. You'll need to book your place. Clothes-making lessons also available.
