Support Services

Tim Kiver Foundation

Tim Kiver Foundation are ‘Experts By Experience’ and offer support for anyone affected by ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) in Hampshire (Southampton, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth) and throughout the rest of the UK too.
Our support is for adults and parents of children who may be affected by ADHD with our awareness activities supporting groups, businesses and the public in general.

We run local Support Groups in Southampton and Portsmouth plus an Online Support Group for anyone who prefers this method and anyone from outside of our local area.

We support individuals providing advice and advocacy to individuals and their families to ensure that undiagnosed individuals with ADHD symptoms are sign posted to the correct medical teams / resources, armed with the information necessary to obtain medical help more effectively.

We spread ADHD Awareness by attending public events, holding publicised Information Drop Ins and presenting ADHD Awareness Sessions for groups, businesses and the general public.

Empowering Young People for a Better Future

We are a children and young people's charity that supports children, young people and their families through a range of services. We focus our activities on:
Prevention - street and centre-based youth work with children and young people
Targeted support - one to one and group work for children and young people who, for whatever reason, need more focused support including through alternative provision using nature-based learning to engage young people who may struggle in the school environment.
Progression Opportunities - employability and social action projects.

We also work with families with children whose behaviour challenges through our NVR - Families Together Programme. The programme focuses on supporting parent/carers to break the cycle of challenging behaviours whilst building positive relationships within the family unit. Each week will focus on a different topic, including de-escalation, parental presence, emotions and how to regulate them, unmet needs, supporter systems and applying learning.
