Local organisations and charities working to tackle the cost of living crisis can now bid for a grant from a good cause fund which has been generated by the Portsmouth Community Lottery.
Applications are now open for organisations to put themselves in the running for up to £1000 to help local families over the coming months.
This could include projects for those who are not eligible to take part in the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme and activities which benefit a wide section of the community.
Applications are particularly welcome from those organisations and group in the north of the city.
Ultimately, Portsmouth residents will be the main recipients of the funding.
At the next lottery panel, due to open in the autumn, applications will be welcomed from organisations and groups wishing to bid for funding to spend on equipment or activities which benefit the local community.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 26 May. To apply, visit Portsmouth Community Lottery | HIVE Portsmouth
