Applications open for Portsmouth Community Lottery grant

Local organisations and charities can now bid for a grant from a good cause fund which has been generated by the Portsmouth Community Lottery.

Applications are now open for organisations to put themselves in the running for up to £2000 to spend on equipment or activities which benefit the local community.

Ultimately, Portsmouth residents will be the main recipients of the funding.

Revd Canon Bob White, Chair of Hive Portsmouth Trustees, said: “Portsmouth Community Lottery was launched to raise money within the community for the community.

“We want this funding to go to those who will benefit most from it. This is a great opportunity for local organisations and community initiatives and if you’re working to help people in Portsmouth, we want to hear from you.”

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 20 May. To apply, visit Portsmouth Community Lottery | HIVE Portsmouth
