The Sandbox project is looking for Community Peer Researchers to help with their community research and make a real difference in their community.
Those taking part will need to commit 10 hours a week to the project from mid-September to mid-December and must have an interest or experience in Sandbox’s focus topics of:
- Cultural understanding of faith-based needs and practices at a time of mourning
- Understanding suicide risk (and potential supports) for local young people
- The challenges with access to respite care for families with children with Special Educational Needs
Community Peer Researchers will be paid £15 an hour, and will participate in training and support to learn about community/peer research.
