Portsmouth Lottery grants - We recognise the incredible contribution and role our local charities, not-for-profit and voluntary sector organisations play in the local community. We are able to offer one-off grants to local good causes through our small grants fund. This round of the Portsmouth Lottery opened on the 1st October 2020.
You can apply for up to £1,000 of funding for your project or service.
Your activity or service should take place in Portsmouth, or directly benefit Portsmouth residents.

Co-op Food Fund
The Co-op has donated £1.5m to the National Emergencies Trust which will be used to support local charities and community organisations that are working to tackle food poverty in communities across the UK. The money was raised over the summer through purchases from the Co-op’s picnic range. This funding will be distributed through the national network of community foundations using their local expertise - Find out more here
INCREASING ACCESS FUND
The new Increasing Access Fund is targeted to support organisations to develop new services that respond to the Covid-19 situation, or to adapt existing services to meet local and national needs. The Fund is aimed specifically at ensuring or increasing access to key services and activities for beneficiaries who have struggled with access due to Covid-19. The Foundation will also consider supporting programmes which provide access for beneficiaries to new services which have been developed in response to a clear Covid-19 need - Find out more here
Homelessness, faith, community and voluntary sector organisations in England can apply for funding to provide single room and COVID-19 secure accommodation for people experiencing homelessness this winter.
A new £2 million Fund has been launched that aims to help frontline organisations to keep homeless people and rough sleepers safe during winter. Grants of between £10,000 and £100,000 are available for small to medium sized organisations with an annual turnover of up to £5 million that are working directly with people experiencing homelessness - Find out more here
Sport England Launches £16.5m Return to Play Fund - The new £16.5 million fund provides additional help to the sport and physical activity sector during the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. Funded with money from the Government and the National Lottery and administered by Sport England, the fund will support groups, clubs and organisations who have been impacted by the pandemic - Find out more here
