Grants for greater wellbeing - To give greater wellbeing to the people of Portsmouth, small grants are being made available by The D-Day Story to be spent by 30 April 2021.
The grants are for COVID-19 compliant activities and projects which benefit the people in Portsmouth.
The application it must meet one or more of the following priorities:
Priority 1 – Improving the health and well-being of local people
Priority 2 – Community Celebrations and bringing people together online
Priority 3 – Sharing the stories of D-Day and Landing Craft Tank 7074

The Garfield Weston Foundation is a family-founded grant-making trust which has been supporting charities across the UK for over 60 years. From small community groups to large national institutions, the Trustees’ aim is to support organisations that have effective solutions to helping those most in need. The Foundation supports UK registered charities working within the UK in the areas of Welfare, Youth, Community, Arts, Faith, Environment, Education, Health and Museums & Heritage.

The Co-op COVID-19 Funding Programme has been set-up to provide grants of up to £5,000 to local voluntary and community groups that deliver programme which provide emergency food and includes all programmes that address food insecurity and its impacts for those in need.  Closing date 13th November at 12 Midday.

Sylvia Waddilove Foundation UK - COVID–19 Emergency Fund.  Grants are available for small to medium sized not-for-profit organisations in the UK who are struggling to manage the financial impact of COVID-19 either because of increased demand for their services or from loss of income.  Grants up to £1,000 are available. The fund is targeted at organisations in a critical position.

Veolia Environmental Trust - Grants are available to constituted, not-for-profit groups with environmental and community projects that are located near a qualifying Veolia site in England.  The funding is for capital improvement projects at a single site that fall in one of the following categories: Community buildings and rooms; Outdoor spaces; Play and recreation; Biodiversity projects.  The next deadline for Stage 1 applications is before 12 noon on 3 December 2020

Unltd are now accepting applications for the Inclusive Recovery Fund, until Friday 13th November, designed to help social entrepreneurs deliver their important services and grow their impact while adapting to the challenges the Coronavirus crisis has presented, with an emphasis on ventures with ideas to accelerate their growth, build resilience and create a deep and lasting impact. It aims in particular to support those with direct experience of the social problems they are seeking to address, known as leaders with lived experience.

Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust - Rights and Justice Programme.  Application Deadline: 30 November 2020
Grants are available to support projects aimed at promoting racial justice and equality of opportunity as a basis for a harmonious multi-racial, multi-ethnic society in the UK. Funding is provided by the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust (JRCT). Other funding programmes are available.

Allen Lane Foundation - a grant-making trust set up in 1966 by the late Sir Allen Lane, founder of Penguin Books, to support general charitable causes.  Application Deadline: 30 November 2020. Grants are available to small registered charities, voluntary groups and charitable organisations in the UK for work that makes a difference to people's lives as opposed to simply alleviating the symptoms or current problems and should aim to reduce isolation, stigma and discrimination. The Foundation makes single grants, or grants split over two or three years.  The funding is intended to benefit groups of people who are under-represented in UK society.
