****National Lottery Community Fund Re-Opens Regular Funding Programmes for England****
After being paused due to the coronavirus crisis, the National Lottery Awards for All, Reaching Communities, and Partnerships funding programmes are open for applications again.
For the past months, the National Lottery Community Fund has been focussing on providing emergency funding for VCSE organisations in response to the coronavirus crisis.
The Community Fund has now announced that the short-term emergency phase of funding is coming to an end and the following regular funding programmes for England have re-opened for applications

National Lottery Grants for Heritage - Grants of £3,000 to £10,000 and £10,000 to £100,000
Resilience and inclusion project funding to support organisations working with heritage to adapt and respond to the changing environment they are now operating in.
Open to projects that: Support organisations working with heritage to adapt and recover in the continuing coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.  Or: Are focused on inclusion, led by and/or engaging diverse groups typically under-represented in heritage. A rolling programme with no deadline

The Environment Agency and Angling Trust have announced a new fund to encourage more people to take up fishing or reignite a passion for fishing.
From an overall £100,000 budget, grants of up to £500 for small-scale projects and up to £5,000 for larger projects will be available.
The funding is expected to help the delivery of future angling participation events, including any additional equipment needed to ensure fisheries are following COVID-19 safety guidelines, PPE and signage. It can also cover the costs of fishing equipment, tackle and bait, as well as event resources including promotional material, gazebos and basic storage facilities.
Applications are accepted from angling clubs, fisheries, charities, schools and local authorities in England. Activities undertaken as a result of receiving funding must be delivered on freshwater fisheries where angling requires a fishing licence.  Deadline 12 March 21

Third Self-employed Support Grants - Self-employed people whose trade has been adversely affected by coronavirus can now apply for a third grant from the Government.
Individuals or members of partnerships whose business has been adversely affected by COVID-19 can now apply for a Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) grant worth 80% of their average monthly trading profits.
Applicants from across the UK will be eligible if their business has a new or continuing impact from coronavirus between 1 November 2020 and 29 January 2021. The applicant must either: Be currently trading but impacted by reduced demand due to coronavirus or Have been trading but temporarily unable to do so due to coronavirus.
They must also declare that they intend to continue trading and reasonably believe there will be a significant reduction in their trading profits. Applicants must make their claim on or before 29 January 2021.

Help the Homeless, a small grant maker with limited funds available for giving, provides a grant scheme to support small and medium-sized UK charities that work to help homeless people rebuild their lives and re-enter society.
Funding is targeted at projects to find practical ways to help disadvantaged individuals return to the community through training or residential facility provision, rather than merely providing short term shelter.
UK registered charities can apply. Charities must be registered with the Charity Commission
This fund is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized registered charities with an annual turnover of under £1 million.  Deadline 15 December and then 15 March

The Alec Dickson Trust’s grant applications are now open - The COVID-19 global pandemic is having an unprecedented impact on individuals and communities. Youth volunteering has an important role to play as part of society’s response to this issue. To help young people to volunteer in response to COVID-19 the Alec Dickson Trust has set up this call for applications.
The Trust welcomes applications of up to £500 from UK-based volunteering or community service projects, organised and run by people under 30 years old, which directly or indirectly respond to COVID-19. 
Applications must also align with Public Health England guidance on how to volunteer safely during the pandemic.

Aviva Community Fund - Every three months, £250,000 will be shared equally among Aviva UK employees to donate to the projects that matter to them most. Each charity can apply for funding of up to a maximum of £50,000 and Aviva employees will decide how the funding is distributed.
Your submitted project must fall within one of two key funding areas:
Financial capability and inclusion: giving people the tools to become more financially independent
Community resilience: tackling inequality and improving environments to build more connected, more resilient
Communities

The 7 Stars Foundation Project funding for those challenged by abuse; addiction; those who are young carers; those who are homeless/without a safe space to call home.
Project grants awarded up to £2,500. To organisations with a turnover of under £1.5M.
Supporting young people aged 16 years and under.
Projects enabling young people to have the best start in life- to reach for the stars.
Projects which have a direct impact and respond to a need in an immediate manner.
Projects hosted in geographical areas of deprivation and socioeconomic disadvantage.
Projects which respond to (one of the/multiple) funding priorities of the7starsfoundation.
Projects which address a lack of provision (due to a lack of funding from alternative sources).
Projects which provide immediate support not just in the short-term but with long-term benefits too.
