Welcome to our Funding Alert – We have a dedicated bid writer who is always here to help with funding questions.

Matthew Good Foundation- Grants for Good Fund: Grants are available for local community groups, charities, voluntary groups and social enterprises in the UK for projects that have a positive impact on communities, people, or the environment. Every three months, the Grants for Good Fund will divide £10,000 between five shortlisted projects that have a positive impact on communities, people, or the environment. The shortlisted projects will be voted on by John Good Group employees. Local community groups, charities, voluntary groups or social enterprises in the UK with an average income of less than £50,000 in the last 12 months are welcome to apply.

Help the Homeless Grant Scheme-  Grants for capital projects are available to small and medium-sized charities registered in the UK working to assist homeless people to rebuild their lives and return to the community. Funding is targeted at projects to find practical ways to help disadvantaged individuals return to the community through training or residential facility provision, rather than merely providing short term shelter. Grants of up to £5,000 are available.

National Lottery Community Fund - Platinum Jubilee Fund-  Grants are available for local not-for-profit organisations across the UK to deliver community projects which support new opportunities and build better relationships across generations and with the natural world, in commemoration of Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Grants of £30,000 to £50,000 are available. It is expected that 70 projects will be funded.

Deadline for Submissions is  15th December 2021 or once 700 applications are recieved. You can click here to find out more information. 

Communities Against Cancer-  Grants are available to community groups in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight for projects that engage with local people to communicate key cancer prevention messages. The programme seeks to facilitate cancer awareness and prevention activities by helping people understand how to reduce their risk of cancer and how to stay healthy. This may be particularly relevant for communities in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight who face poorer health outcomes and health inequalities. Grants of between £500 and £5,000 are available.

In-Kind Direct-  In Kind Direct is the UK charity distributing consumer goods donated by companies to UK charitable organisations working in the UK and overseas. Offering simple solutions to connect companies and their products to thousands of charities, community groups, foodbanks and schools. In-Kind Direct make it easy for companies and brands to have a positive social impact with the products they make and sell.

No Wrong Door Transformation Grants- Early Notification- This grant is for any community and voluntary sector group working in Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Southampton and Portsmouth with a maximum award of £8000. The proposed project should look to improve either: access, outcomes or experience for underrepresented groups in a local area within the system. It can also go towards a project which will help to gather data and raise awareness about mental health services for those underrepresented groups. Further information about the application process will be included in future funding updates. The application window will open from the 1st November and will close on the 30th November. There will be a virtual engagement event on Tuesday 5th October 2-4. You can sign up to join by emailing the below email address.
