Lloyds Bank Foundation opens funding to distribute £9.5m to small and local charities across 2021  
Small and local charities helping people overcome complex social issues can now apply for two-year unrestricted grants of £50,000.  Alongside unrestricted funding, successful charities will be supported by one of the Foundation’s regional managers, who will work with them to access a wide range of organisational development support to help meet identified needs. 
The Foundation is also continuing its commitment to equitable funding, ringfencing at least 25% of its funding for charities led by members of minoritised communities.
The funding will be open year-round, meaning charities can apply at a time that suits them and will not be restricted by deadlines.

Lloyds Bank Foundation opens its Racial Equity funding for charities led by and for Black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities.  Charities can apply for two-year unrestricted grants of £50,000 alongside development support.
The funding will be open year-round, meaning charities can apply at a time that suits them and will not be restricted by deadlines. The Foundation is looking to support charities where more than half of their Trustee Board self-identify as Black, Asian or minority ethnic, with an annual income of between £25,000 and £1m, and with a strong track record of helping people from minority communities

The Aviva Community Fund supports applications for forward-thinking projects that enable causes to adapt their vital services and innovate to create a brighter, more sustainable future.  Eligible causes will be able to submit their projects to the Aviva Community Fund through Crowdfunder. Funding applications are open to projects looking to raise up to £50,000.  If your application is accepted into the next round, your crowdfunding page will go live at the same time as all other eligible causes, so everyone gets an equal opportunity to attract donations.
Focusing on three key areas:
•  Building back better: helping society to bounce back from the pandemic by addressing the health and wellbeing, and economic impacts on communities and individuals
•  Climate champions: helping communities to prevent, prepare for and protect against the impacts of climate change
•  Financial empowerment: supporting financial inclusion and giving people the tools to become more financially resilient and independent

The Postcode Society Trust supports smaller charities and good causes in the south of England to make a difference to their community for the benefit of people and planet.
Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have funded good causes in every postcode area in Britain. They provide funding for smaller charities and good causes in the south of England under the themes:
Improving mental wellbeing
Enabling community participation in the arts
Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
Supporting marginalised groups and promoting equality
Improving biodiversity & green spaces
Enabling participation in physical activity
Responding to the climate emergency & promoting sustainability
Increasing community access to outdoor space
Rolling application windows throughout the year

Sustaining Support for Armed Forces Communities programme will award grants of up to £100,000 for existing charitable projects to help charities to sustain activities and services that people from Armed Forces communities use and value.
To be eligible to apply, your organisation must be one of the following.
An Armed Forces charity.
A registered charity with substantial recent experience of supporting Armed Forces communities and have been registered for at least one year at the time of your application.
Organisations applying for a grant will need to show they provide support to people from Armed Forces communities, and that it would have a negative effect, particularly on veterans and Forces families, if their work could not continue.

Resilient Communities Fund – Central Southern England - £3m Homelessness Winter Transformation Fund
This year the fund will focus on support for vulnerable community members and projects which improve community participation and effectiveness; and projects which improve community resilience to emergency events.
Funding from £1k to £20k
The fund will support projects that achieve one of the following criteria:
1. Vulnerability - To protect the welfare of vulnerable community members through enhancing their resilience and improving community participation and effectiveness.
2. Resilience for Emergency Events - To enhance community facilities, services and communication specifically to support the local response in the event of a significant emergency event
