Jeans For Jeans 2021: Our focus in this funding round will be on supporting small but vital disorder specific charities adapt, respond and recover from Covid. A simplified grant application will be open for genetic disorder charities in the UK on 1st Julue. Unrestricted grants of £2,500 to registered charities, with income under £100k. Zoom Q&A sessions 6 and 13 July.

Places Called Home: IKEA Limited and The National Lottery Community Fund have come together to support thriving, resilient and sustainable communities across the UK. Places Called Home explores the idea that communities can become as important to us as our homes. It aims to inspire and help people get more involved in their local community as a positive, homely place to be and meet other people. Grants available of £1000- £5000. This grant is targeting organisations who haven’t received lottery funding before, are smaller organisations with a turnover of under 100k or currently do not hold a grant with lottery.

Stephen Lloyd Awards: This grant is available to anyone resident in the UK, or any organisation or charity established in the UK that has an innovative idea that can lead to practical, sustainable social change. Providing experts that can deliver practical, free support to shortlisted candidates as well as Award winners. At the shortlist stage up to ten awards of up to £2,000 to further develop their ideas.

Shoosmiths Foundation: UK registered charities undertaking work in the UK to advance social mobility, carbon net zero UK and access to justice in the UK. The social mobility aim is the priority for 2021. There will be a webinar with more information held on 14th July. You can sign up via the link below.

The Local Connections Fund: Round 2 of this opportunity to now open. This fund is designed to help charities and community groups working to reduce loneliness by helping build connections across their communities. Microgrants between £300 and £2,500, so small, local organisations (with an annual income of £50,000 or less) can bring people and communities together.

UK Youth Fund- Covid Resilience: Grants are available for small, local youth organisations based in England which have suffered in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding aims to ensure that grassroots youth organisations that have suffered due to the pandemic have the resources required to reopen or bring their level of delivery back to pre-Covid levels and ensure they have the financial means to weather future disruptions.
