No Wrong Door Transformation Grants- Early Notification- This grant is for any community and voluntary sector group working in Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Southampton and Portsmouth with a maximum award of £8000. The proposed project should look to improve either: access, outcomes or experience for underrepresented groups in a local area within the system. It can also go towards a project which will help to gather data and raise awareness about mental health services for those underrepresented groups. Further information about the application process will be included in future funding updates. The application window will open from the 1st November and will close on the 30th November. There will be a virtual engagement event on Tuesday 5th October 2-4. You can sign up to join by emailing the below email address.

Crowdfunder Portsmouth: CIL Transformation Fund: To be eligible for this opportunity you need to have a crowdfunding project. Once an eligible project has raised 25% of their fundraising target from multiple pledges, if you meet the Council’s criteria and sign up to their terms and conditions, Portsmouth City Council may pledge 50% of the target (up to a maximum of £5,000), subject to available funds within the ward the project is located within. Projects must be located within Portsmouth.

Portsmouth Lotteries Good Causes - Portsmouth Community Lottery is a fun and effective way for your good cause to raise regular funds. Draws take place every Saturday night and winners are advised directly, so if you don’t have the time to check who’s won, we’ll let you know. There are no set up costs or admin fees - just fill in a simple online form and once approved you will be set you up with your very own customisable lottery page. 60% of ticket sales will go to good causes - 50% to your cause and 10% to a fund supporting good causes in Portsmouth. Your funds are sent directly to your account every month. With 50 tickets a week you can raise over £1,300 every year.

Comic Relief Community Fund for England- This funding is intended to support community-led organisations to deliver change by drawing on the 'lived experiences' of people who have experienced the issues being tackled. These issues should align with one of Comic Relief's four strategic themes. Grants of up to a maximum of £10,000 are available with a split of Capacity Building grants of up to £1,000 to be spent on activities to strengthen operations and governance. (All applications must include this grant) and Project Delivery grants of up to £9,000 to deliver projects that fit with the programme’s strategic themes.

Free Funding Talk: Sylvia Waddilove Foundation
The Sylvia Waddilove Foundation UK (“the Foundation”) provides grants to small and medium sized charities and not-for-profits who operate in the following areas:
- Promotion and education of organic farming, nondomestic animal husbandry and veterinary science
- Visual and performing arts
- Medical research
- Relief of disability and severe illness
- The preservation of buildings of architectural or historical significance
- The accommodation of those in need

Are you passionate about supporting people to age healthily? Do you have a good idea to help keep people fit and healthy in mind and body for longer? Can you help older people to feel valued and part of a supportive community? Are you looking for ways to expand your work with older people?
We would like to help you turn that idea into a reality! HIVE Portsmouth is promoting new social enterprise support offered by UnLtd. Successful applicants will gain practical and financial help. First round applications need to be submitted by end September 2021, with subsequent rounds to follow from both UnLtd and HIVE Portsmouth’s own Encouraging Innovation fund.
