HIVE Portsmouth works with individuals, communities and other organisations to improve the health and well being of people in Portsmouth. Key partners include health and care statutory organisations with the city and the hundreds of voluntary, community and social enterprise groups (VCSE) who play a pivotal role in supporting local people. We actively support and develop the VCSE sector within the city and enable and support social action on issues that face people within Portsmouth.
We’re looking for a Business Administrator to take up a key position and to support the smooth running of the organisation. The postholder will support both the senior managers and trustees.
The successful candidate will be committed to our charitable objectives and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork. They will have excellent organisation and administrative skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to analyse and use data to track impact and performance. They will be experienced in supporting an organisation with policy development, record keeping and statutory requirements. A good understanding of health and safety requirements, good governance of charities, all relevant data protection legislation and day to day financial processing is essential. They must have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and the ability to act with discretion, maintain high standards of integrity and behaviour and respect confidentiality.
Hours of work
Full time (we will consider a minimum of 4 days a week)
