Make Portsmouth greener? Yes we CaN!

Tuesday, September 20, 2022

HIVE Portsmouth is set to host an environmental event which will bring together local green groups and climate champions who are united by their desire to build a more sustainable city.

The Connecting and Networking (CaN) event will be held on Thursday 29 September.

Run in partnership with local groups and Portsmouth City Council, the event will focus on environmental and climate issues and opportunities, with information about new initiatives, available funding streams and potential collaborations.

It will be an opportunity to hear from council officers, learn about community-generated ideas for more environmental partnership work in the city and to visit information stands from local groups dedicated to making Portsmouth greener.

The event will be held between 2pm and 4pm on the third floor of the Central Library in the Menuhin Room, next to the Lily and Lime café.

Groups wishing to promote their own work in the environment and climate sector will have the chance to have a stand or information point.

Contact sectorsupport@hiveportsmouth.org.uk to book your free space.

Places at the event are limited and tickets must be booked in advance via eventbrite
