New Year's Honour for former HIVE chief

Tuesday, January 3, 2023

Huge congratulations to our former Chief Officer Louise Wilders who has been recognised for her tireless work at HIVE Portsmouth with a British Empire Medal in the King’s New Year’s Honours.

Louise was named for services to the community of Portsmouth, particularly at the height of the Covid pandemic. She was a driving force behind the formation of this charity and we are enormously proud that she has been recognised with this well-deserved honour.

Revd Canon Bob White, Chair of HIVE Portsmouth Trustees said: “We are delighted that Lou has been recognised for her services to the community in Portsmouth.

“During her time at the helm of this charity she constantly inspired us with her innovative approach and dedication to our mission to make the city happier, healthier and better connected.”
