Social Enterprise

When starting a new social enterprise, it is a good idea to create a business plan. There are lots of templates available for business plans but they all have similar headings.

You will have lots of ideas in your head about what you want to do, and a business plan is a way of getting all your ideas out of your head, onto paper and then organising them to give you a pathway and priorities to follow.

Social entrepreneurs tend to be creative and imaginative; a formal business plan feels like hard work! We recommend using a social business model canvas that allows you to be artistic as you organise your plans, so grab some post-its and build your business plan.
