The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund
Grants are available for charities, not-for-profit social enterprises and community interest companies in the UK that are working to support young carers/young adult carers or young offenders
The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund has launched a new grants strategy for 2021. This year, the Trust’s primary focus is to help support the needs of young carers and young people caught up in the criminal justice system. This marks a shift from previous years when the Trust focused its funding on unpaid adult carers and adult offenders.
The first round of 2021 is providing grants to young carers; the second round will support young offenders.
The funding is not for standalone new projects, rather it is to support work that ‘amplifies the impact’ of existing work with young carers (up to the age of 25) and develops existing support around learning and access to education and training.
Grants are available from £10,000 up to £60,000 for a duration of six months to two years
Maximum value: £ 60,000
Application deadline: 11 May

British Council Unlimited Micro Awards
Funded by the British Council and administered by Unlimited, these micro awards support artists to build connections/collaborations, rather than to create work.
We want to hear from the full diversity of disabled artists, working in any discipline across the UK. By using the term ‘disabled artist’ we aim to include artists who identify as being disabled, D/deaf, neurodiverse/neurodivergent and those experiencing chronic illness, mental health conditions, and more. We understand that different people prefer different terminology. You do not have to prefer the term ‘disabled person’ to apply. Artists whose work centres around disability and/or impairment are welcome to apply, as are those whose work does not.
Applications must be led by a UK disabled artist or company/collective working with a UK disabled artist.
Awards of up to £2500. Deadline 18 May
