Family Fun Day is back . . . . . and better than ever!

On Sunday 22nd June we are opening the Fort Purbrook gates again to welcome our community to our Open Day.

Here’s a sample of what you can do . . . . .

• Test your accuracy at Archery
• Practice your aim in the Rifle Range
• Keep your balance on the Junior Assault Course
• Get competitive with Laser Tag in the moat
• Watch the Saddle Club in the Arena display
• Sing along to Ready to Rock
• Entertain your under 5’s in our Soft Play Area
• Ride one of the ponies
• Get involved in the Kids V Staff Tug of War at the end of the day.
• Experience the sights, sounds and smells of an Anglo Saxon encampment with historical reenactment group, Herigeas Hundas!
• Cheer at the exciting display from Victory Dogs Agility Display

But that wont be all. . . .

There’ll be an opportunity to understand more about the heritage of this Palmerston Fort by joining a mini tour including the tunnels.

Of course you could just pull up a hay bale and enjoy something from a food vendor or pop up café.

There will be parking available in the fields but we do recommend car sharing or using public transport.
