
HIVE Portsmouth is excited to be recruiting for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team and help deliver an important new programme of work as part of the Portsmouth Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC).
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with communities to build connections, share experiences, and explore the factors that influence health and wellbeing across our city.
As our Community Engagement Coordinator, you will:
- Work alongside the Community Research Engagement Lead to build strong, positive relationships with local communities, the VCSE sector, and the HDRC team.
- Support the delivery of community research, co-production, and engagement activities.
- Help generate research ideas that reflect community-led concerns, motivations, and interests.
- Provide support to community researchers and contribute to engagement events and co-production initiatives.

- Has experience of working within a community setting.
- Understands the role of HIVE Portsmouth in the city.
- Shares our values and is passionate about working in partnership to influence positive change.

- Salary: £25,000
- Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
