We're hiring! Senior Community Health Coordinator

HIVE Portsmouth is recruiting for a Senior Community Health Coordinator to join our team, helping to build stronger connections between communities, health services, and the VCSE sector across Portsmouth.

About the role

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about community health to play a central part in our outreach work. You will coordinate our Wellbeing Collective service and lead the delivery of HIVE community helpdesks across the city, working closely with local people, statutory services, and VCSE organisations.

As our Senior Community Health Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate referrals and day-to-day operations of the Wellbeing Collective.
  • Coordinate the delivery of community helpdesks across Portsmouth.
  • Build collaborative partnerships with VCSE organisations and health and care services.
  • Help residents stay independent, avoid unnecessary hospital admissions, and access the right support at the right time.
  • Contribute to the development of local Neighbourhood Health initiatives.

  • Salary: £30,000
  • Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
  • Contract: 1-year fixed term (with potential to extend)
