Poundland Foundation: The Foundation plans to make £825,000 of grants to community projects over the next 12 months. In the first round of funding, grants of up to £750 will be available to charities as part of the ‘Kits-for-Kids’ scheme. There are 250 grants available. Grants are available for local charities and community organisations across the UK. The first round of funding is aimed at local sports clubs or organisations working with children, who are looking for support for their team. Applying organisations must have child protection and safeguarding policies that can be evidenced in their application. Applicants are advised to first register their interest in applying by emailing the Poundland Foundation.

The D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust: The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust funds United Kingdom Registered Charities operating in the UK in the fields of the advancement of the arts, health and medical welfare and environmental protection or improvement – please read specific areas of interest and priorities for support in our Downloadable Guidelines. The Trustees will consider applications for core costs or projects.

The Virgin Media O2 Together Fund: Launched to supercharge local charities across the UK as the nation emerges from the pandemic. Charities can apply for a £1,000 grant for environmental and community belonging projects, inspiring people across the UK to get together and create positive change for the causes they care most about. Funding will be made available in time for the Together Coalition’s national #ThankYouDay, which takes place on Sunday 4th July. The fund will prioritise supporting charities who will use part of this funding to put on a covid-safe Recognition Event on this day. The full criteria for applications is listed on the website- please ensure your organisation fits all the criteria and can deliver the proposed activity before applying.

Kenwood Community Fund Grant: Please be advised that the Kenwood Community Fund is now open for grant applications from not-for-profit organisations in Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Portsmouth and Waterlooville. Grants of between £2,000 - £7,500 are available to support projects and initiatives running over one year, or over two years if it is a new initiative, that make a real difference in the areas of health, nutrition and wellbeing.
his year, the fund will also be providing one grant only of £25,000 for a particularly focused health, nutrition or wellbeing need, with priority given to those supporting the most disadvantaged people in their communities. Grants aim to help community befriending groups, organisations that support mental health or tackle isolation, exercise and social interaction groups, tea dances and projects that tackle health and wellbeing and more - please see the ‘Acceptable Projects’ section on the link below.
