FitzRoy - Love4LifeLove4Life is a friendship and dating network for people with learning disabilities and autism. We organise workshops and social events that help you make friends and build relationships in a relaxed atmosphere.
We provide life-changing opportunities for people with autism and learning disabilities to build lasting friendships and relationships. From clubbing, karaoke and festivals to bowling, drama and sports, members can choose which events suit them, and there is always a good range of choice. Membership costs £10 a month. For some events, such as meals out or the cinema, there will be an extra cost, however other events and all of our workshops are free. |

Food CycleHello! We’re FoodCycle Portsmouth John Pounds Centre. We collect food from retailers that would otherwise be thrown away, and with the help of lovely volunteers cook it up into a tasty, healthy three-course meals for those most in need in our city.
We cook and serve tasty three-course hot meals from The John Pounds Centre in Old Portsmouth every Wednesday at 6pm. 23 Queen Street

FoodCycleFoodCycle runs free community meals using surplus food to reduce food waste, food poverty, and loneliness in the community. It is no questions asked and you do not need to book in advance in order to attend as a guest. Simply turn up at the John Pounds Centre at 6pm on a Wednesday and you will be served a delicious 3 course meal. All our meals are vegetarian, but if you have other dietary requirements, please let the volunteers know when you arrive.

Forces Employment CharityThe Forces Employment Charity provides life-long, life-changing support, jobs and training opportunities to Service leavers, veterans, reservists and their spouses, partners and children, regardless of circumstances, rank, length of service, or reason for leaving.
We support spouses and partners, including divorced, separated, and bereaved, on their journey into employment. We understand that Service life and transition can impact the whole family, so we offer mentoring and career guidance to young people aged 16-24. If you need help with your CV, advice on returning to work after a break, or advice on transferring skills and qualifications from the military, we can help! You can access a variety of pathway events and support through Op ASCEND, a free service offered to veterans and all military families (including those whose family members are still serving).
