Support for people transitioning out of the Armed Forces and into mainstream society covers aspects of employment and some briefings on finances and housing. Reports such as the Transition Mapping Study, Veterans Transition Review and Lifting the Lid on Transition support the need for a holistic model of support, yet nothing is changing quickly.

Our combined experience and the available evidence shows that an effective, holistic model of support must include consideration for the cultural and values-based obstacles to healthy transition that are unique to people leaving service, and must therefore be developed with the maximum possible input from the people who it is designed to support.

Extra Care is aimed mainly at older people that need support with their daily living, to live in their own, self-contained home with the security of having someone on hand, if needed, 24 hours a day.

Faith & Football is based in Portsmouth, UK and runs a number of Bible Lego Club, Topic explorers and Extra Time Literacy scheme. Community Football Leagues, the Social Enterprise & Business Challenge, the Extra Time Literacy Scheme, the Team Talk Life Skills Course, the Enterprise & Leadership Academy, the Time Out Family Engagement programme and more! Family Clip 'N Climb @ Mountbatten Leisure Centre

An action packed climbing adventure for everyone! Try 7 fun themed challenges and climb to the top. For both children and adults! Please note: this session includes a 15 minutes briefing time maximum depending on group size before your climbing starts.
Minimum age 4 years.
If you are an adult and you are NOT climbing, you do not have to purchase tickets. We do have a viewing area within the climbing facility.
