North End Play SchemeNorth End Playscheme runs for a week during the School Summer holidays.
We have been running for over 30 years providing affordable childcare for Primary School aged children. We also have a stay and play for those under school age where there are crafts, stories, a bouncy castle and messy play. We are run completely by volunteers with a core planning team, and then more volunteers who join us to enable the week to happen. We charge £50 for the week for the first child and then a discounted rate for any subsequent children. Mayfield Road, Portsmouth PO2 0RH

Nurture Bereavement SupportBereavement support for children and young people.
As the tragedy of Covid-19 unfolds the death toll continues to rise, it won’t be long before everyone will know of someone who has died. Children and young people can be badly affected by loss and adults often don’t have the skills or courage to talk openly about it with them. Nurtureuk has produced a specially edited version of their Bereavement Box that helps anyone supporting bereaved children and young people understand what they may be experiencing with helpful suggestions on approaches and exercises to help children cope better with their grief. The Bereavement Guide is available to download free of charge |

Off The RecordOTR is here to provide emotional wellbeing and mental health support for young people aged 11-25 in South East Hampshire and Portsmouth by offering a choice of counselling and group work options for young people, and parents / carers, so you can pick the support you feel will be most effective for your situation. Talking to someone in a counselling environment outside school, or home helps build your emotional resilience as you explore changes in your life or respond to traumatic events.
We understand that it might be nerve-wracking to make that first step but saying things out loud for the first time, in a safe space, can be life-changing!
