Portsmouth Association for the Blind is a Charity that has existed and evolved since 1922. It serves the needs of Blind and Vision Impaired people whether they are registered or not.
Members are free to make their own way to our groups or we offer a door to door escorted mini-bus service.

PBCA is none religious none political organisation in practice, first Bengali voluntary organisation in Portsmouth with a management committee includes women's voice, involvement and giving equal chance and opportunities. Organises and delivers cultural family friendly events, activities, annual family trips, open to all, promoting and value Bangla Language and Cultural Heritage.

Portsmouth Breast Cancer Friends is a charity providing a community-based, informal networking and support group for anyone in the Portsmouth area who has had a breast cancer diagnosis. We offer opportunities to create links with other people affected by breast cancer and to access support and accurate information.

PCAS’s aim is to provide support to community members and to promote inclusion and cultural diversity in Portsmouth, UK.
PCAS is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation that was formed in 2019 to represent the interests of all people of Cameroonian descent in the city of Portsmouth, and beyond and to engage with members of our community through our events and activities to promote our cultural heritage through social inclusion and diversity.

The team is based at the Carers Centre. We start with a conversation to understand your situation and help you to work out what type of support might help. Carers often find it useful to get information and advice, support to have a break or just to have a listening ear.

Portsmouth Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Portsmouth, which covers south-east Hampshire, Portsea Island and the Isle of Wight. The focal point for many diocese-wide services and events, we host many diocesan events from confirmation services to the ordinations of new ministers. Worship in a variety of different styles is available throughout the year, from daily Holy Communion, to our informal family service #PompeySundays. We warmly welcome all through our doors, as a beacon and safe haven anchored in Jesus Christ. We are also the Parish Church of St Thomas of Canterbury, serving all who live in our geographical parish rather like any other smaller parish church.

All libraries in Portsmouth offer a range of books and resources for adults, carers and children that aim to help you improve your health and wellbeing. All our libraries have Wellbeing Zones where you can browse up to date books and leaflets on any aspect of mental and physical health. Our staff are also happy to signpost you to local services that can help you manage your own health.
