Rowans Hospice has a team of Clinical Psychologists, counsellors, and trained volunteers who provide bereavement support accessible by individuals bereaved of a person who had been under the care of any Rowans Hospice service. Self-referrals welcome. You might also consider attending at Rowans Living Well Centre where bereavement support is offered by the team of trained nurses and support workers.

That search led to finding Conductive Education, a system of learning based on the simple concept of human potential that everyone has the capability to learn and develop, irrespective of their starting point. This is the Rainbow Centre’s DNA and over 30 years, the secret of our neuro rehabilitation success.

Rainbow Trust provides emotional and practical support to families whose son or daughter is affected by a life threatening or terminal illness. This includes parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters, grandparents and help with extended family members to support each other.

Any family can receive support from the moment of their child or young person’s diagnosis, (including antenatal and neonatal periods when diagnosis has been made) and support with young people during transition towards adult services up to the age of 18.
